As part of their 800th year anniversary celebrations, the University of Cambridge chose to mark their amazing milestone by throwing a garden party for their staff in the prestigious Botantic Garden.

The Garden holds the teaching and research collection of plants for the University, and this splendid site was acquired for that purpose in 1831. The vision for the Botanic Garden came from Professor John Henslow, and it is particularly fitting that they chose to celebrate at this venue, since he is best known as the mentor of one of their greatest alumni, Charles Darwin. The party celebrations spanned throughout the day offering a range of activities, entertainment and refreshments.

We were thrilled to be involved in these wonderful celebrations when the University asked us to design their party brochure. A twelve page brochure was issued to every guest on the day and was a memento from the day. We were of course honored to be on the guest list of the private small garden party held at the Botanic Garden, hosted by the Director, University Botanic Garden.
