The University of Cambridge recently asked Redback Design to design their exhibition stands for use at education exhibitions. Following the success of these exhibitions we were asked to develop their admissions drive and to create an advertising campaign that would feature on Trains between Cambridge and Kings Cross stations. The campaign needed to appeal to the every-day-tripper from mums and dads to shoppers to doctors. The two final adverts featured models as every-day-trippers sitting as themselves on a train but with a nudge to one of the University’s courses; a literature book to indicate their literature courses, an old oil painting to suggest their historic art courses and so on.
